We are a church that assumes that our presence in North Memphis is to bring the kingdom of God to our neighbors in tangible ways. We will proclaim the good news of Jesus by word and deed, demonstrating love, grace, and mercy in concrete ways to build a people united in faith. We aspire to be a people who wage peace against darkness by responding to crisis, meeting needs in our community and working toward answers to problems that cripple our neighborhood. We celebrate God’s creativity in making all people unique and value one another just as God has. We see the family of God as the remedy for consistent family brokenness. We will measure our success and strength upon life change, bringing people from darkness to light. We will care about the next generation and invest in the lives of children and teenagers, giving them a place of peace to learn and grow.
